So, Wrath is fun. I'm leveling with my own personal Saibelf. She's pretty sweet and kills things for me. I just heal her and give her the Power Infusion sometimes. It's pretty sweet.
I had a blast and got a sweet goodie bag. Also, I got my picture up on Joystiq!
Guild run TK! I win at healing!
Quick post, because I wanna' play.
Got my second account activated and moved Kryyal to the second account. Going to level him to 70 with a healing Furret in tow. When I'm not messing with them, I'm going to level Pixyl and Dawt with their sick triple experience!
Game time now!
Hooray! After fighting with the servers for two days, I got tickets to Blizzcon! I'm going with a friend from work, and we're going to dress up. I'm going to make a set of Frozen Netherweave armor and rock it hardcore. Woo!
So, I'm running this fucking instance on heroic because I need badges and it's the daily and I like Ethereum Prison Keys. Got two of my real-life buddies, Paithan and Jayli running with Furret (who I recently specced Circle of Healing).
We get half way through and keep wiping because of shit (my new healing mods were fucked, tank was rusty, I was blowing too many dudes, et cetera), and lose a DPS. It's no big. I pull in my friend Mandelis and get his ass wiped several times.
So, it's 4:30AM, and I've been here since 1:00AM, and I'm about fed up. Warchief Kargath Bladefist won't stop yelling some shit about prisoners or something (honestly, he must've executed at least seven prisoners or some cockload), and I'm getting fed up. The mage keeps sucking balls and isn't doing the DPS we need, so we "fake quit," and kick him to get some DPS in from Chosen Rejects. Ninjas keep spawning and stabbing us in the dick, and by the time we down the final boss, we're all fed up.
Remember Paithan? Yeah, he is gearing up for tanking 25-mans, and he's trying for the Boots of the Righteous Path. We down the boss in an epic furry of arrows (at one point, Jayli's bow broke and she ran in, beating the cunt out of dude with her bow), and he dropped... mother fucking Forestheart Bracers.
Yeah, I got 4 Badges of Justice and an Ethereum Prison Key. Blow me.
...roar.
After a long search, I've decided that I want to be with the Chosen Rejects. They are lacking in numbers (we've gotta' team up with other guilds to get the 25-man content cleared), but they're the best players I've ever been with. Every player knows his role inside and out, and even with minimal progression, I'm seeing a huge increase in run speed and DPS.
In addition, the game is fun again. I'm actually excited--excited--to run through Karazhan with these guys, even though I need nothing from it and is, at its core, boring old farm content. The game hasn't been this exciting since open beta, and I'm not sure if this is a good thing (fun now!) or a bad thing (so much not-as-fun-as-now).
When I first joined them, they had a Ventrilo server. That was it. Since Na Koa, I've been wanting to make a guild website that I was truly proud of, something that I wouldn't mind being up on my monitor at all times, constantly refreshing the page. I asked our guild leader, Broxor when we were getting a guild site. His reply was, "Whenever you make it." So I did.

It took me some time, but out of all of the systems I tried, I like Guild-o-matic best. I've seen some terribly shit sites made with it, but I've found it to be the easiest to work with, and I love the way it automatically handles applicants, members, the forum, raids, DKP and the WOW Armory without making several different accounts. Simple.
In site news, I've still not got the new layout up (I've been working on the guild thing), but I've got the new banners and shit designed. I just need to sit down, upload them and dork with the CSS for a bit. I plan on starting to post more in-depth WOW stuff (I'm working on an article about modified DKP systems and why they're good for growing raid guilds), so expect some serious content soon. Of course, no WOW blog would be complete without the generic, "Today I fought boars. Lots of boars." posts. Expect those as well.
I'm still working on migrating the layout from I, Revolutionary! over to this newfangled wowblog. I've found myself going on and off WOW more than I like, so I'm starting this as a drive to continue on with the game.
I play mainly on US Alleria Horde as a bitchin' shadow priest named Furret. He's sittin' pretty in all Kara gear, and I can't really upgrade much of his gear until I get into BT. I've been looking for a solid raiding guild, but the prospects are very minimal.
My more favored alts are Kryyal, an undead warlock, and Pixyl, an undead warrior. I'm trying to push them up to 70 (80?), and if I can do that, I can respec Furret to holy and have a healer, a tank and a DPS on standby.
Until I get this site up, running and fully operational, enjoy the carbon-copy layout with significantly different content!
